Hello, I am presently writing an encyclopedia of 60s U.K. Groups and was doing research on Tim Gentle & His Gentlemen when I came across this wonderful website and saw a message from Tims sister. Hi Jim, My memories go back to when I was a teenager at school, and going home, having to pass The Elms, I could hear a group practicing, and having just taken up the drums at that point, stopped and tried to look under the rotating front door of the dance hall at The Elms. Later in the 60s I often used to bump into Lionel: and in 1968> for a bit, I also used to train at the old Estuary Gym.
